Registration

1. Registration for the Summer Rowing Festival takes place through the Starttiin.fi system. This system is widely used in Finland for registering for rowing and paddling events.

2. To log into the Starttiin.fi system, you need to use Suomisport identification. The authentication process is quick and easy. If this is your first time logging into Suomisport, you will need to create an account. Afterward, you can access the system using a one-time code, which will be provided when you proceed to registration. Creating a Suomisport account takes only a few minutes.

4. In the first step of registration, you will need to select whether the registration is for a Fitness event or the Finnish Championship (SM) races:

5. Registration is always done by individual rowing units or teams.
The unit or team to be registered must be one of the following:

• Single
• Doudle (relay rowing, tandem rowing, coastal rowing)
• Quadruple (indoor four, coastal rowing)
• Church boat (10-seat, 14-seat + rear rower)
• Special boat (can be any non-motorized watercraft)

6. Rowing registration is binding, and the Summer Rowing Festival organization does not refund the registration fee if participation is canceled. If an individual rower cancels their participation, they may transfer their spot to someone else and notify the organizer of the change by 30.6.2025 at info@suursoudut.fi. A marketplace for finding replacement rowers is available on the website www.suursoudut.fi

7. The full team’s registration fees must be paid at the time of registration.
Accepted payment methods are:

• Online banking payments
• Card options (Mastercard and Visa)
• Mobile payment options (siirto.fi and MobilePay)

Sports vouchers (epassi and Edenred) will be available as payment methods in January.

8. During registration, the following information is required:

• The name of each rower and the number of times they have participated in the Sulkava rowing event.
• If all rowers’ names are not yet known, the list can be updated until 30.6.2025 by sending the details to info@suursoudut.fi

9. Discounts available:

• Under 23 years old : e registration is possible through the Starttiin.fi system for teams where all members are under 23 years old . In this case, the word “ilmainen” (free) should be entered in the discount field, and no payment will be required. Age must be verified on-site at registration.If there are under 23 years old in an adult team, their participation fee must be paid in full during registration, and the fee will be refunded with receipt.

• Full-time students: The Rowing Support Association (Soutujen Tuki ry) offers a 30% discount for all full-time students. In this case, the word “opiskelija” (student) should be entered in the discount field, and the fee will be reduced by -30%.Valid student identification must be presented for all participants at on-site registration.
  If there are full-time students in an adult team, their registration fee must be paid in full, and the discount fee will be refunded with receipt, student ID photo, and payment details sent to info@suursoudut.fi

10. The person who registers a team for the event automatically becomes the team’s contact person.
