At the Grand Rowing Races of Sulkava, you can choose from five different route options on Lake Saimaa. You can circle Partalansaari either as the “King’s Route” with a daytime or evening row, or for a more relaxed overnight trip.
Experience routes are available in three different lengths – 15, 25, or 40 kilometers.
Whether you are a first-timer or an experienced rower, you will definitely find a route that suits you!
Route options
Partalansaari King’s Route (60 km)The King’s Route is a classic rowing course that takes you around Partalansaari Island. You can choose between a daytime or a scenic evening row.
This route is challenging, but the stunning landscapes, experiences, and challenges it offers will definitely reward you!
Overnight Adventure Row (70 km)If you’d prefer to take the Partalansaari route at a slower pace, the adventure row offers the chance to split the journey over two days.
This way, you can enjoy the tranquility of nature and the beauty of Lake Saimaa in all its splendor, while experiencing an unforgettable adventure, including an overnight stay at Varviranta.
Experience Routes (15, 25 or 40 km)The experience routes provide shorter options that are perfect also for beginners.
